Bartender Wins $200K on Scratch-Off Ticket
Ticket purchased at Fredericksburg K-Mart had the second-highest prize in the "50X the Money" game.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Buying a lottery ticket just 'cause usually means your out a few dollars. For Amanda Long, that impulse buy earned her $200,000.
Long was shopping with her mother when she picked up the 50X the Money scratch-off ticket at the K-Mart on Plank Road.
“I was drawn to that one,” she told Virginia Lottery officials.

Long scratched off the second-highest prize in the 50x the Money game. The top prize is $5 million.
You can get just as lucky, says lottery officials. Six more $200,000 prizes have not been claimed.

Long works as a bartender. She wants to buy a new car with her winnings and take care of her family, according to a lottery release.
