STAFFORD, VA—When is a Christmas parade more than just a Christmas parade? Find out for yourself Saturday at "Christmas in Stafford," a holiday celebration that includes a 5k run, a so-called Reindeer Run, live music, games, food, pictures with Santa and, yes, a Christmas parade.
The day-long, rain-or-shine affair takes place noon-7 p.m. in around the Jeff Rouse Swim and Embrey Mill Sports Complex at 1600 Mine Road. Among the Christmas Village events will be toboggan rides, a candy land, Santa's workshop, a food truck, a DJ, a Christmas marketplace, carnival games and picture stations.
