The Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center announced the expansion of its summer concert series for 2013. Sounds of Summer will feature 22 free concerts in Market Square 7 - 9 p.m. every Friday beginning May 24 and continuing through September 27.
"This series is meant to showcase local and regional musicians performing various genres of music including jazz, country, bluegrass, blues, classical, and pop," the museum said on its website.
In addition, the museum will offer free, extended hours from 5 - 9 p.m., a member’s reception and activities for kids in the square each Friday.
