Dense Fog Expected Through Morning
Humid air will bring dense fog to the region until mid morning.
The national weather service has issued a dense fog advisory for Fredericksburg and the greater Washington D.C. area. The advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.
The weather service reports visibilities down to a quarter mile or below and advises motorists to slow down, use headlights and avoid tailgating other vehicles.
