Downtown Wine Store Moves, Changes Name

Downtown Fredericksburg has lost another business.

The Virginia Wine Experience has closed its store at 826 Caroline St. and moved to Eagle Village.  The store also has a new name.   

The new store is called Hop & Wine and is located at 1223 Jefferson Davis Hwy.  The new phone number is 540-373-8878.

May I say that I, for one, am going to miss stopping in during my downtown walks. I always enjoyed browsing the beverage selections and touring the art on the second and third floors.
