FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office is asking the public’s help in locating the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was involved in a three-car crash on New Year’s Eve in the Fredericksburg area.

Deputies responded around 10:45 p.m on Tuesday to the 10:45 p.m. in the 6200 block of Harrison Road, according to the sheriff’s office. The pickup driver left the scene before police arrived. Only minor injuries were reported from the crash.

“This is the harsh reality of drinking and driving,” according to a post on the sheriff’s office facebook post. “A three-car accident that could have easily taken a life. Thankfully, only minor injuries were sustained. The drunk driver fled the scene, escaping responsibility for their reckless actions but the consequences are far from over.”
