Earth Day On The Rappahannock 2019 This Weekend In Fredericksburg
Although the official Earth Day has come and gone, there's another celebration on tap this weekend in Fredericksburg—on the river, no less.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Although the official Earth Day, April 22, has come and gone, there's another celebration on tap, and this one happens to be on the banks of the Rappahannock River. It's the 16th annual Earth Day On The Rappahannock festival, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Old Mill Park, 2201 Caroline Street.
For one thing, we're talking live music and food. For another thing, on hand will be dozens of environmental exhibitors, birds of prey, hands-on activities and other family oriented fare. Per the organizers: "Come learn what you can do to reduce your impact on the planet while having great, FREE, fun. Bring your own water bottle for re-fills!"
