MONDAY, Nov. 11 - Veterans Day

  • City and county offices are closed for Veterans Day.
  • In the City of Fredericksburg, Monday's trash will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday's trash will be collected Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday recycling will be collected Tuesday.

TUESDAY, Nov. 12

  • Steal the Glass with Founder's Brewery at Capital Ale House.  Beginning at 4 p.m. they'll be pouring Breakfast Stout, Porter and All Day IPA in a special snifter glass.

THURSDAY, Nov. 14

  • The Fredericksburg Department of Parks & Recreation is hosting a Thanksgiving Craft session for children age 3 - 5 years from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Dorothy Hart Community Center.  Cost is $5 per child.

  • Lafayette Upper Elementary School PTA sponsored pizza and movie night begins at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
  • Fredericksburg Regional Chamber Business After Hours at Holiday Inn Express, 5422 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Fredericksburg, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Elton John returns to DC this week after eight years. He'll play the Verizon Center at 8 p.m. Thursday. More information here.
