Embezzlement Used For Butt Enhancement In Stafford: Police
A bookkeeper was arrested after embezzling $93,000 from a Fredericksburg company. Among her purchases: plastic surgery in Miami, say police.

STAFFORD, VA—A former bookkeeper was arrested Wednesday after embezzling more than $93,000 from No Limits Construction at 68-A Cool Spring Road in Fredericksburg, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Vanessa Cline, 32, of Stafford, was charged with five counts of embezzlement, five counts of forgery and five counts of uttering.
Cline used the money for, among other things, plastic surgery to have her buttocks lifted, wedding expenses, plane tickets and furniture. She had replaced another bookkeeper who pleaded guilty last year to embezzling at least $150,000 from the company between January 2016 and January 2018.
Police began investigating March 18 after the owner reported unauthorized purchases has been made on a company credit card. He said he had been contacted by his credit card company and told one of his accounts was going to be closed for lack of payment.
