Encrusted Debris Found In Fredericksburg Fast Food Kitchen
Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors reported violations at 15 of the 24 Fredericksburg food establishments they visited July 14-25.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors reported finding health code violations at 15 Fredericksburg food establishments they visited July 14-25.
During a July 24 inspection, an inspector found 13 health code violations at the Hardee's of Four Mile Fork. The inspector reported seeing flying insects, employees preparing food without the proper hair restraints, and an accumulation of "grime and debris on nonfood contact surfaces throughout the facility."
The inspector also noted encrusted debris and food residue on no the floor and behind equipment.

"The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by eliminating harboraging conditions," the inspector wrote, after recommending the restaurant undergo a detailed cleaning.
