Fair Enters Second Day

The 273rd enters the second day of its weeklong celebration of farm life and fun times. Gates open at 10 a.m., with admission at $7 for those aged four to 54, $5 for those 55 and up.

Schedule of Events for Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair, July 30: 

• 10 a.m. - Gates open, pig, duck and goat racing begins in rotation, country K-9 show begins in rotation, ARBA rabbit judging, Nojoe's Clown Circus begins in rotation, Ackmonster's chainsaw artist begins sculpting, pony rides and petting zoo open, rabbit and fowl presentation from Bidget and Tom Kane.
• TBA - Kids tractor pull
• 10:30 a.m. - Tiny Miss Fredericksburg Fair Pageant (ages 3-5)
• 11 a.m. - Rides, exhibits open. 
• 11:30 a.m. - Little Miss Fredericksburg Pageant (ages 6-8)
• 12 p.m. - Armed forces celebration
• 12:30 p.m. - Pre-Teen Miss Fredericksburg Fair Pageant (ages 9-12)
• 1 p.m. - Young livestock judging, mud bog at motorsports park
• 2 p.m. - Fiddling contest at Fairway Stage
• 7 p.m. - Milford Station, Templeton Pocket Change
