Family, Police Searching For Missing 22-Year-Old In Fredericksburg
Police and family are searching for Darius Appiah, a 22-year-old who the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said went missing last Wednesday.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Police and family members are continuing to search for Darius Appiah, a 22-year-old who the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said went missing on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
The Virginia State Police, working with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, identified Appiah as an "at-risk/missing person." The State Police issued the critically missing adult alert Friday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said Appiah is 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was possibly wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and brown hiking boots when he went missing, the sheriff's office said.

On Monday, the sheriff's office said Appiah is still labeled as missing and that their detectives are pursuing all leads.

Fox5 reported Sunday that dozens of people gathered at Alum Spring Park in Fredericksburg to search for him.

In its alert, the Virginia State Police said his disappearance "poses a credible threat to his health and safety as determined by the investigating agency."
