Father And Son Die After Stafford Car Crash On Tuesday: Police
A father and son died on Tuesday after they crashed their 1979 Mustang on White Oak Road in Stafford County, authorities said.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A father and son died on Tuesday in a car crash on White Oak Road, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
Another driver involved in the crash suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Authorities identified the father and son as 42-year-old Raymond Morgan Jr. and 19-year-old Raymond Morgan III. They were not wearing seatbelts, investigators said.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of White Oak Road and Belle Plains Road. Investigators determined that Morgan Jr. was speeding in a 1979 Ford Mustang when he lost control. He then swerved into oncoming traffic on Belle Plains Road, where the Mustang collided with a 2005 Dodge Ram, police said.
Morgan III was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff's office said. First responders took Morgan Jr. to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.

"While the crash is still under investigation, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office sends its condolences to the families involved in the accident," the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
