Fire Alarm Experiment Leads To Charges For 2 HS Students: Sheriff

In a quest for knowledge, two students decided to pull the fire alarm at Stafford High School on Tuesday, according to authorities.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Two curious students found out what would happen if they pulled the fire alarm at Stafford High School on Tuesday.

Fire Marshal John Ennis and a Stafford County Sheriff’s deputy responded around 12:40 p.m. to investigate a fire alarm at the high school located at 63 Stafford Indians Lane, according to the sheriff’s office.

Since no fire drill had been scheduled for that day, Ennis and the deputy reviewed security video to see if anyone had pulled the fire alarm on purpose, according to authorities. The video showed two students pulling the alarm even though there was no fire.
