First Saturday Market and Fall Festival
Saturday's expanded farmer's market will celebrate the season.
The Fredericksburg City Farmers Market and Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation are teaming up to present a First Saturday Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 6.
The farmers market at Hurkamp Park on Prince Edward Street will be expanded to include a moon bounce, a hay maze, entertainment, craft activities and more.
Winners will be announced in the Best Pie and Best Pumpkin Carving contests. To compete in the contests, pies and carved pumpkins must be dropped off with entry forms between 10 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Rules and entry forms are available online.

The First Saturday Market begins at 7 a.m.; the Fall Festival runs 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
