Weapons Charges For Fredericksburg Man With Assault Rifle
A Fredericksburg man was arrested in Washington, D.C. for vehicle theft and multiple weapons violations, according to police.
WASHINGTON, DC — A 39-year-old Fredericksburg man is facing multiple weapons charges in Washington, D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Matthew Fincham was arrested on April 4 for first degree theft of a vehicle in the 3800 block of 2nd Street, Southeast, according to MPD.
After recovering a Century Arms WASR-10 7.62x39mm caliber assault rifle in the 100 block of Wilmington Place, Southeast, MPD charged Fincham with carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of unregistered ammunition, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance while armed, threat to kidnap or injure a person, destruction of property, fugitive from justice, resisting arrest, theft first degree, and possession with a large capacity ammunition feeding device.
