Fredericksburg Woman May Have Broken Arm Of Home Invader: Police
A woman may have broken the arm of a man who attacked her inside her Fredericksburg home Saturday night, according to police.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who attacked a woman after breaking into her home, according to authorities. During the struggle, the woman may have broken the suspect’s arm.
Around 10:40 p.m., on Saturday, police received a call reporting a breaking and entering incident in the 1000 block of Hotchkiss Place. A heavy-set man, standing about 6-foot-2, entered the rear basement home and attacked a woman who was inside, according to police. The suspect was wearing all-black clothing and a black balaclava.
A struggle ensued and the suspect began choking the woman. Although she briefly lost consciousness, the woman continued to fight, which is when she may have broken the man’s arm. The suspect fled on foot toward the wooded area behind the townhome, heading in the direction of Snowden hills, according to police.

Fredericksburg police searched the area with the help of the department’s drone team and a K9 unit from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
