A 25-year-old Fredericksburg woman is considered a fugitive for missing two scheduled hearings, according to the Stafford County sheriff.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Detectives with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Destiny Coleman of Fredericksburg, who is wanted on multiple charges, including possession of controlled substances, according to a department release.
During a traffic stop in south Stafford last November, a sheriff’s deputy found that Coleman was in possession of numerous controlled substances, according to the sheriff’s office.
On Nov. 29, 2024, Coleman appeared in Stafford General District Court on a felony charge of possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances, and she returned to court on Dec. 2, 2024 for a bail hearing.

Coleman also did not show up for a Jan. 30 hearing in Stafford County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in connection to a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court records. That charge stems from a Sept. 29, 2024 arrest, which is unrelated to the possession charge.
