Fredericksburg's Huntley Wins Season 24 Of NBC's 'The Voice'
Huntley, a singer from Fredericksburg who was part of Niall Horan's team, won season 24 of NBC's "The Voice" on Tuesday night.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Huntley, a Fredericksburg native, is the latest winner of NBC's "The Voice." The singer was named the champion for season 24 on Tuesday night's finale.
After defeating four other finalists, Huntley was awarded $100,000 and a contact with Universal Music Group.
Huntley competed with coach Niall Horan — known for his time as a member of the boy group One Direction — throughout the season.

In his first performance on the show, Huntley's soulful voice caused all four judges to turn their chairs as they tried to recruit him to their respective teams. Ultimately, Huntley allowed his 6-year-old daughter to choose Horan as his coach.
Throughout this fall, Huntley's performances attracted more and more attention. In his final solo performance on the show, the father of two sang “Another Love" by Tom Odell and "Higher" by Creed. In part two of the finale, Huntley sang "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan with Horan.

Before he was named the winner, Huntley took to Instagram to thank the Fredericksburg community for its support.
"This is insane. So blessed and so grateful for everybody that has believed in me on this journey," Huntley wrote.
The 32-year-old thanked his fellow competitors and described them as his friends.
"It's been such a bonding experience and all of us have grown from it," Huntley wrote. "I really can't thank 'The Voice' enough for putting this group together."
The Fredericksburg community has rallied around Huntley. Billiken's Smokehouse hosted dozens of supporters at watch parties for the season finale on Monday and Tuesday.
Now, supporters from the Taste of Fredericksburg Facebook group are planning a celebration. More than 750 people have reacted to the planned party.
