Guns, Ipods Stolen Over Weekend

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2011

BURGLARY:

1100 block Townsend Blvd, July 29 3:00 p.m. – 10:45 p.m. A resident reported that a window was forced open at her apartment, and a game system, iPod, and other items of value were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

Health South Rehabilitation Center, 300 Park Hill Dr, July 22 8:00 a.m. A patient reported that her Kindle was stolen from her room. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

400 block Hanover St, July 29 11:30 p.m. A resident reported that her bicycle was stolen from where she left it unsecured. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

900 block Caroline St, July 30 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that a handgun and a GPS were stolen from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1100 block Central Park Blvd, July 30 – July 31 12:20 a.m. A King George resident reported that his iPod and charger were stolen from his vehicle, which was parked in the lot across from the movie theater. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Wegmans, 2281 Carl D Silver Pkwy, July 31 12:25 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject left the store without paying for the items in his cart. The suspect was described as a white male with a shaved head and he left the scene riding a black mountain bike. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

1400 block Sunken Rd, July 29 8:30 a.m.  – 12:30 p.m. A resident reported that the rear sliding glass door of the home was broken, but no entry was made to the house. The investigation is ongoing.

1000 block Lindsay Ct, July 29 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. A resident reported that his mailbox was struck and damaged, possibly by a vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1500 block Caroline St, July 29 8:00 a.m.  – July 31 9:50 a.m. . A resident reported that the rear window and passenger side mirror on her vehicle were shattered. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS: Leonard Taylor, 36, of Spotsylvania was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Lamont Haskins, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for assault by intimidation.

Paul Powell, 26, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting from Wawa.

Annie Fitzgerald, 27, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting from Wawa.

Thurston Thornton, 36, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

Timothy Morton, 57, of Fredericksburg was arrested for failure to appear in court, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, and obstruction of justice.

John Talley, 60, of Fredericksburg was arrested for failure to appear in court.

Mayfield Powell, 62, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of cocaine.

Donovan Leger, 24, of Lake Charles, Louisiana was arrested for urinating in public.

Blaine Johnson, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Kristopher Gastelo, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Jose Ortiz, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

Al Smith, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Richard Whitney, 26, of Manassas was arrested for public intoxication.

Shellie Bowman, 37, of Locust Grove was arrested for public intoxication.

Todd Strickland, 33, of Colonial Beach was arrested for public intoxication.

De Aries Holden, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Gabriel Dubois, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
