Heat Advisory Tuesday: Fredericksburg Weather Forecast
The Fredericksburg region isn't getting a break from the heat, yet. It could feel like 105 degrees on Tuesday, according to forecasters.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Dangerous temperatures return Tuesday in the Fredericksburg area. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from noon until 8 p.m.
Temperatures will be in the mid 90s. The heat index, or "feels like" temperature will reach around 105 degrees.
Those without air conditioning or who are outdoors for an extended period will risk heat-related illness, the weather service warns.

"Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside," according to a weather service statement. "When possible, reschedule strenuous activities for early in the morning or in the evening."

- Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible, and
- Drink plenty of water.
When working outside, schedule frequent rest breaks in a shaded or air conditioned area. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool, shaded location.
