Injured Vets Ride Toward The Ocean
More than 200 riders set off from Fredericksburg this morning.

More than 200 injured veterans set off from Fredericksburg earlier today as part of the Ride 2 Recovery Memorial Challenge. The ride began on Monday, with riders starting off in Arlington, Va., before turning south, stopping overnight in Manassas, Fredericksburg, and later, Richmond, Williamsburg, Fort Eustis and finally Virginia Beach.
Ride 2 Recovery, a 501(c) 3, helps injured veterans improve their health and wellness through individual and group cycling. Cycling is used in the recovery process to provide a new physical challenge while helping to cope with the mental challenges faced by injured veterans.
