Laurence Alan Stewart Videoed Bombing Plans

A computer memory card mailed to the home of Laurence Alan Stewart II's father shows the suspect's plans for three bombings in the area, reported Keith Epps of the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star.

"The father’s roommate placed one of the memory cards into his computer and began watching a video in which Stewart talks about his involvement in the attempted slayings of the former girlfriend and the Stafford officers, court records state," said Epps.

Stewart is being held in Montana, where he was captured Nov. 1 after a nation-wide manhunt.

On Oct. 30, Stewart detonated homemade pipe bombs at three residences, one in Fredericksburg and two in Stafford County.  Detectives determined Stewart was targeting two law enforcement officers involved in earlier arrests of the subject and the suspect's former girlfriend.

Stewart is charged in Stafford County with two counts of attempted capital murder of a law enforcement officer, two counts of arson of an occupied dwelling and one count of use of a weapon or device for a terror act.

The City of Fredericksburg charged Stewart with one count of attempted capital murder of a law enforcement officer, one count of missile into a occupied dwelling and one count arson of an occupied dwelling.
