STAFFORD, VA—To satisfy a coffee craving, Stafford's James Shackelford recently pulled in to a Wawa convenience store at 275 Butler Road in Fredericksburg and bought a cup o' joe. When he received his change, he decided to buy a Virginia Lottery "Cash Money" ticket.

Good thing for him. Shackelford's ticket was worth a cool $150,000, the top prize. "I was all shook up," he later told lottery officials. A plumber, Shackelford said he has no immediate plans for his winnings but might do some traveling. His chances of winning were 1 in 1,040,400.
