STAFFORD, VA—A man was arrested Tuesday, April 16, after breaking into Ferry Farm Elementary School at 20 Pendleton Road during spring break and vandalizing a classroom, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Jeremy Bushey, 21, of Fredericksburg, was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and destruction of property.

Around 8 a.m., police were dispatched to the school for a reported vandalism incident. An employee found a broken office window and a classroom that had been vandalized, with books scattered throughout the classroom and a broken vase.

Video security footage showed a man—Bushey—walking through a school hallway and entering a classroom. After about a minute, he walked out and left the building but walked into a courtyard where there's no exit. He then climbed on the roof, damaging drain pipes, gutters and a roof vent, after which he jumped onto a school walkway and left the area on a bicycle.
