Man Busted For Recent Robberies In Fredericksburg: Police
A man has been arrested for a recent spate of armed robberies in the city, according to Fredericksburg Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—A man has been arrested for a recent spate of armed robberies in the city, according to Fredericksburg Police. Dervon Markeif Tate, 28, of Stafford County, was charged with three felony counts of robbery and three felony counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
His targets included the United Bank at 1304 Central Park Boulevard on Jan. 9, the Exxon at 3201 Plank Road on Jan. 6 and a Sunoco at 201 Jefferson Davis Highway on Jan. 3. He had an accomplice, described as a black male, in the Sunoco robbery.
Court records, according to the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star, show a total of about $4,000 taken in the robberies. Police are still looking for a white male who robbed the Express Food Mart at 333 Fall Hill Avenue on Jan. 9. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-373-3122.
