Man With Gunshot Wound Shows Up At Police Headquarters: Report
Fredericksburg Police are investigating reports of a shooting that occurred around the time an injured man showed up at police headquarters.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A man remains hospitalized Tuesday morning after walking into police headquarters Monday night and telling officers that he had been shot.
The man entered the Fredericksburg Police Department’s lobby around 7 p.m., and then told the E-911 center that he was suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. Officers began administering lifesaving efforts until the arrival of emergency medical personnel, who took the man to a nearby hospital.
While this was going on, the E-911 center received several phone calls reporting that gunshots had been heard in the area of the Commons apartment complex.
