Man Wanted For Robbing FXBG 7-Eleven Tracked To Stafford 7-Eleven
A 30-year-old man wanted by Fredericksburg Police for the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven was located in another 7-Eleven in Stafford County.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 30-year-old Stafford County man wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a Fredericksburg convenience store on Wednesday morning was arrested by a sergeant with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office a short time later.
Officers from the Fredericksburg Police Department were dispatched around 1:33 a.m. for the report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 340 Amaret St.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a masked man who entered the store to make a purchase showed that he had a firearm and demanded the employee give him all the money in the register, according to FPD. After the employee complied, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

After reviewing surveillance video, the FPD officers shared a description of the suspect with the Stafford Sheriff’s Office. The deputies began searching the area, until a sergeant with the sheriff’s office spotted a man matching the suspect’s description at another 7-Eleven.
Once Marquis Harrell was arrested, Fredericksburg Police charged him with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, robbery with a firearm, brandishing a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm and wearing a mask in public place. Additional charges against Harrell are pending from other jurisdictions.
