Manhole Covers Stolen in City

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2011

LARCENY:

Hilton Garden Inn, 1060 Hospitality Ln, 9/20 11:00 pm – 9/21 8:00 am. A guest reported that his camera was stolen from his unsecured vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

City Welding Service, 1212 Lafayette Blvd, 9/21 7:30 am – 9:30 am. The business owner reported that an unknown person cut and removed a large piece of copper cable from one of the work trucks. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

City Shop, 1000 Tyler St, 9/10 – 9/21 12:00 pm. A City employee reported that several manhole covers have been stolen from various locations throughout Fredericksburg. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

7-11, 1240 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 9/21 6:00 pm. A resident reported that while she was inside the store she saw a male subject ride away on her bicycle, which she had left on the sidewalk in front of the business. A short time later, an officer located the subject and bicycle on William Street and transported them back to the 7-11. The victim positively identified the suspect as the offender and the bicycle was returned to her. Daniel Larson, 48, of no fixed address was arrested for felony larceny and public intoxication. Larson was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $2500 bond.

ARRESTS:

Justin Jones, 27, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Sarah Cooper, 42, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Connor White, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and assault on law enforcement.
