Missing 3-Year-Old Found Safe

SPOTSYLANVIA, VA — A child reported missing Thursday morning has been found safe, along with his father. Law enforcement allege the man assaulted the boy's mother and fled with his son.

Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office issued the Amber Alert early Thursday for Zion Clinton Amir Williams, 3.

He had last been seen at 421 Cleveland Court in Spotsylvania. Deputies claim the boy's mother had been assaulted by Joshua Christopher Williams, 28.

Joshua Williams fled with Zion. A car they were thought to be riding in was located mid-morning, but the child was still missing.

The Amber Alert was canceled after they were located Thursday afternoon.
