Money, CDs, iPod Stolen from Residents' Cars

LARCENY:
300 block Caroline St, 10/30 8:45 p.m. A resident reported that he was returning to his home after walking his dog when he saw an unknown man leaning into the passenger side of his wife’s vehicle. The victim shouted at the unknown male, who ran from the scene in the direction of Dixon Street. The victim then discovered that a quantity of cash was missing from his wallet, which had been left inside the car. The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s with shoulder length dreadlocks and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The investigation is ongoing.

1500 block Winchester St, 10/29 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole CDs from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Cornell St, 10/27 – 10/28 8:50 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and stole cash from her wallet. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Weedon St, 10/27 – 10/28 6:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and stole cash from the center console. This victim also found items next to the vehicle that were determined to have been stolen from another car in the 800 block of Charlotte Street. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
200 block Charles St, 10/28 2:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and stole an iPod. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
800 block Mortimer Ave, 10/27 – 10/28 9:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and stole cash and loose change from the door pocket. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
300 block Prince Edward St, 10/24 – 10/28 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person damaged the soft top on his Jeep. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Ryan’s Steakhouse, 1780 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 10/28 2:00 p.m. – 11:55 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person shattered a window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
1200 block Winchester St, 10/27 – 10/28 7:20 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the contents of the glove box and center console. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Mortimer Ave, 10/27 - 10/28 4:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the contents of the glove box and center console. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1700 block Washington Ave, 10/28 2:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the contents of the glove box and center console. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Francis Nugent, 67, of Greenbelt, Maryland was arrested for DUI and driving with an open container of alcohol in the 1800 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.
Timothy Anderson, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 5000 block of River Road.
ARRESTS:Rajinder Sharma, 56, of Spotsylvania was arrested for brandishing a firearm.
Dakota Good, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging him with assault and battery.
Elvis Smith, 56, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
Kyong Kim, 32, of Falls Church was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Adam Alig, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from the University of Mary Washington Police charging him with two counts of felony larceny.
Geoffrey Leach, 39, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with violation of a protective order.
Brandon Hill, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested on warrants from Henrico charging him with petit larceny and felony larceny.
Cristian Jimenez, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.
