More Burglaries Reported

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2012

BURGLARY:

400 block Cobblestone Blvd, 1/7 12:00 pm – 1/9 8:30 am. A construction superintendent reported that he found window screens cut on several unoccupied apartments. In one unit the water line to the refrigerator had been cut and in a second unit the microwave was missing. The investigation is ongoing.

900 block Hanover St, 1/9 8:30 am – 11:30 am. A resident reported that she found a screen cut on the rear porch and dresser drawers open and clothing stolen from an upstairs bedroom. The investigation is ongoing.

700 block Hanover St, 1/9 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. A resident reported that he found two windows open on the ground level and a patio table moved underneath one of the windows. It is unclear if entry was made to the house. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Jonathan Shepherd, 22, of no fixed address was Shepherd was arrested around 5:00 pm on January 9 in the 1300 block of Charles Street by undercover officers and detectives who had been detailed to find him. Shepherd is incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail and currently under investigation for multiple cases of burglary and unlawful entry.

Rakim Pettus, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Joshua Woodward, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
