Murder-Suicide Claims 2 In Stafford County: Police

STAFFORD, VA—Two people were found dead Thursday afternoon, April 18, in what's being called a murder-suicide at a home on Brighton Way in the northern end of the county, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Around 12:30 p.m., a family member reported finding a dead woman in the home. Upon arrival, police also found a dead man. Both were middle-aged. Their names will not be released until next of kin have been notified. Preliminary investigations revealed both people suffered gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing.
