MWHC Salutes Veterans
Two photos of Veterans Day 2013 ceremonies at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospitals.
Mary Washington Healthcare's (MWHC) newly formed MWHC Veteran Champion Group, whose members are veterans or currently serving in the National Guard or Reserves, hosted events Monday to honor veterans.
An 8 a.m. Raising of the Colors ceremony and a 5 p.m. Retiring of the Colors ceremony were held at the flag poles outside Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.
Following each 10-minute morning and evening ceremony, the public was invited to receptions in the hospital lobbies.
