Narcotics Found In Vehicle Reported Stolen From Louisa County: Police
Fredericksburg Police arrested a Spotsylvania woman on narcotics charges after searchng traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 33-year-old Spotsylvania woman is facing narcotics charges after she was stopped in Fredericksburg City for driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen, according to police.
An officer with the Fredericksburg Police Department was on routine patrol in the 1100 block of Carl D. Silver Parkway the evening of Dec. 13, when they spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by Tamburr Johnson.
Searching the vehicle and Johnson, the officer recovered illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to the incident report.

Johnson was arrested and taken to jail, where a second search revealed that she had hidden more narcotics on her person, according to FPD. In addition to being charged on the open warrant out of Louisa County for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, she was charged with bringing narcotics into a jail facility.

Johnson was taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3,000 bond. Additional charges are pending based upon lab results for the suspected narcotics, police say. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Johnson has a preliminary hearing on the delivering drugs to a jail charge on Feb. 13, 2025 in Fredericksburg General District Court, according to court records. She’s due to appear in the Louisa General District Court on Jan. 3, 2025 for the unauthorized use of a vehicle charge.
