One Killed In Fredericksburg Shooting: Police

BREAKING: Police received a call for shots fired in the parking lot of a shopping center early Saturday morning.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 23-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Fredericksburg early Saturday morning, police said.

A call for shots fired in the Greenbrier Shopping Center parking lot came in just before 2 a.m. Detectives responded to the scene in the 2000 block of Plank Road to investigate.

Around 2:06 a.m. a call came in from Mary Washington Hospital for a man with a gunshot wound who was brought to the emergency room. The 23-year-old King George County resident later died from his injuries.
