A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed on northbound I-95 on Friday morning, shutting down the road way for several hours.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A pedestrian was struck and killed on northbound I-95 in Spotsylvania County around 3 a.m. on Friday morning, Virginia State Police said.
The crash, which involved multiple vehicles, shut down northbound I-95 at mile marker 124 for several hours. The roadway reopened around 7 a.m.
Authorities have not provided any details about how many vehicles were involved in the crash, whether any drivers were injured, or why the pedestrian was in the roadway.
