Fredericksburg Suburu Dealer, SPCA Team Up For Pet Adoption Day

FREDERICKSBURG, VA (October 7, 2025) — In honor of Subaru Loves Pets and Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, Sheehy Subaru Fredericksburg and the Fredericksburg SPCA will host a community Pet Adoption Day on Saturday, October 11, from 12–4 p.m. at the Fredericksburg SPCA. The family-friendly event celebrates a long-standing partnership and shines a light on adoptable pets, fostering, and the resources that help keep pets and people together.

“Our partnership with the Fredericksburg SPCA is about showing up for our neighbors,” said DJ Bruce, General Manager, Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg. “Events like this connect pets with families and invite more people to foster and volunteer. Event Highlights

• Free adoptions for approved applicants (standard SPCA policies apply)
• Puppy cuddles & meet-and-greets with adoptable dogs and cats
• On-site SPCA adoption counselors to answer questions and help with matches
• Family-friendly atmosphere; plenty of photo opportunities
