Police Respond to Gunshots in Fall Hill

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 2011

WEAPONS VIOLATION:

1000 block Wicklow Dr, June 23 9:00 p.m. An officer patrolling in the area heard the sound of possible gunfire; she requested other officers for backup and began searching the area. A group of witnesses outside a building in Fall Hill Apartments indicated one of the units in building 1093 as the probable source of the gunfire. Another apartment in a building across from building 1093 was found with holes in the sliding glass door, apparently caused by pellet shot. The occupants of the suspect apartment were interviewed, and three pellet guns as well as a quantity of pellet shot were confiscated. The following arrests were made: Alan-Michael Jones, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for destruction of property, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and discharging a firearm in public. Jones was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $2000 bond. Jarnay Frye, 19, of King George and Domonique McMillan, 19, of Culpeper were each arrested for discharging a firearm in public and incarcerated under $1000 bonds.

LARCENY:

Hospitality House, 2801 Plank Rd, June 23 7:00 p.m. – 8:40 pm. A Spotsylvania resident reported that his ring was stolen from a restroom after he accidentally left it beside the sink. The investigation is ongoing.

V ANDALISM:

1000 block Heritage Park, June 24 1:30 a.m. A resident reported that her front tire was punctured by a male subject after the two of them argued. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS: Michael Fairweather, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested for misdemeanor assault by mob. Christina Ribeiro, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for misdemeanor assault by mob. Lamont Haskins, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for disorderly conduct.
