STAFFORD, VA—Police are looking for anyone who saw a truck hit a bicyclist Thursday afternoon in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Tracey Street, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. The cyclist is hospitalized with serious injuries.

Around 2 p.m., police responded to the scene and found that a cyclist headed south on Jefferson Davis Highway had been hit by a truck near the Hidden Valley 7-Eleven. The truck's driver, a 57-year-old man, remained on the scene.

The cyclist—a 36-year-old man—is being treated at the VCU Medical Center. His identity has not been released. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-658-4958.
