Porta-Potty Torched at City Park

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS TUESDAY, JULY 5, 2011
ARSON:
Alum Springs Park, 699 Greenbrier Dr, July 1 8:00 pm. The park coordinator and maintenance worker arrived at the park at approximately 7:00 am and found a porta-potty had been completely incinerated. The heat and flame from the fire caused other damage to the bathroom building and pavilion located within close proximity to the porta-potty. The investigation has been turned over to the Fredericksburg Fire Department.


BREAKING & ENTERING:

1600 block College Ave, 6/25 7:00 pm (reported 7/3). The victim reported that his kitchen window was ajar after he returned home on 6/25. The only item missing from the residence was a stack of business cards. The victim’s girlfriend just recently received a suspicious email detailing activity on his cell phone. The cell phone had been left at the residence on 6/25. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Moncure St, 7/2 9:00 am. The victim reported that a Playstation 3 console and 6 games were missing from the residence. The victim reported that her son did not secure the door when he left the residence. The investigation is ongoing.

1300 block Stafford Ave, 6/30 10:00 pm. A resident reported that a large rock was thrown through the kitchen window. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Castiglia’s, 324 William St, 7/2 5:00 pm. An employee reported that his bicycle tires had been slashed while it was stored in a bike rack in front of the business. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1600 block Keeneland Rd, 7/4 10:30 am. A resident reported that his passenger side window to his vehicle had been damaged. There did not appear to be anything missing from the vehicle’s interior. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VRE Lot G, 399 Prince Edward St, 7/2 8:45 pm. The victim reported that she parked her vehicle in the lot on 6/28 and when she returned she found the rear driver’s side window had been shattered. There did not appear to be anything missing from the vehicle’s interior. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

300 block Hanover St, 7/4 10:30 am. The victim reported that her vehicle had been damaged while it was parked on the street. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

LARCENY:

501 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 7/2 10:15 pm. The victim reported that while he was at the fireworks stand in the shopping center parking lot, a male took his flash light and the victim’s girlfriend’s coach sunglasses.

Pep Boys, 2384 Plank Rd, 7/3 6:45 pm. An employee reported that a customer, who had dropped her vehicle off for maintenance, returned and was unable to pay for the $809.68 service bill. The female left the store arranging to make payments at a later time. When the employee returned the next day, he found the vehicle had been removed from the parking lot. The vehicle is described as a blue 1993 Dodge Voyager van. The investigation is ongoing.`

HIT & RUN:

100 block Wellington Lakes Dr, 7/1 10:00 am. The victim reported that his vehicle was struck and damaged in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DSW, 1751 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, 7/2 11:10 am. The victim reported that her vehicle had been struck and damaged while she was inside the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Paul Emmitt, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested in the 900 block of Sophia St.

Jerry Pickham, 43, of Triangle was arrested in the 100 block of William St.

Joyce Plummer, 45, of Milford was arrested for embezzlement from Home Depot.

Jared Spears, 26, of Woodbridge was arrested for urinating in public.

Lisa Hooker, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

Matthew Heller, 22, of Woodbridge was arrested for urinating in public.

Larisa Miclescu, 22, of New York, NY was arrested on multiple warrants from both Fairfax City and Fairfax County for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, grand larceny and possessing stolen property with intent to sell.

Semivamida Serban, 34, of New York, NY was arrested on multiple warrants from both Fairfax City and Fairfax County for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, grand larceny and possessing stolen property with intent to sell.

Harold Oliver, Jr., 31, of Dillon, SC was arrested for public intoxication.

Joseph Washington, Jr., 47, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

David Herndon, 39, of Fredericksburg was arrested for dog running at large.

Leslie Johnson, 49, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of cocaine.

Oscar Ventura, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Autumn Carr, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Johnathan Carr, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery and threats and harassment by telephone.

Jeremy Mullins, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and driving while revoked.

Matthew Leake, 45, of Stafford was arrested for filing a false police report.

Stephanie Dankos, 20, of King George was arrested for shoplifting from Wal-Mart.

Alan Alexander, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Juvenile, 16, was arrested for shoplifting from Target.

Francis Stotmeister, IV, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Taurean Hansley, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Paul Buffington, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Russell Hailstalk, 40, of Spotsylvania was arrested for unlawful filming/videotaping/photo of another.

Grover Carson, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession and use of illegal fireworks.

Nancy Smith, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for malicious wounding.

Anthony Schiefelbein, 23, of Pempine, WI was arrested for public intoxication and obstruction of justice.
