Purse Snatcher Nabbed By Police
A woman's purse was snatched literally from under her at Hard Times Cafe yesterday, but the suspects didn't get too far.

Alert and aware bar patrons were able to provide Fredericksburg police with details which helped them catch a number of suspects involved in the stealing of a purse.
The incident happened at the Hard Times Cafe on 314 Jefferson Davis Highway around 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 25. According to police, the victim was sitting at the bar with her fiance when a man suddenly pushed her off her bar stool to grab the purse whose strap she was sitting on. The suspect ran off, followed by the victim's fiance, who saw the man jump into the passenger side of a white SUV before the car drove away.
Witnesses were able to provide police with a license plate number of the SUV as well as a description of the suspect. Soon afterwards, Stafford County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the SUV in the 200 block of Warrenton Road. As the vehicle was being pulled over, a man suddenly jumped out of the passenger side-door and ran off. He was located a few blocks later where he was arrested.
