Rescue Me: Meek Is A Sweet Little Pipsqueak

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Meek is a sweet pipsqueak of a cat who's now available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA.

Meek's adoption fee is being sponsored by the Fredericksburg Nationals; she's September's MVP (most valuable pet).

"Despite being a bit shy, she's been making great strides under the care of one of our cat-savvy fosters," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "Every day, she grows more comfortable and has progressed from being a timid observer to eagerly greeting her foster mom with sweet mews and even leaning against her leg for belly rubs."

Meek is easy to please. Some food and treats and she'll be eating out of the palm of your hand, literally.

"She loves hiding in cozy beds, which is a great excuse to shop for cute seasonal items at Target," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "And don't worry, she'll keep your Starbucks and shopping secrets safe!"
