Meril is a smart and friendly dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA. He gets along with other pups and knows several commands.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Meril is a charming pup who needs a home. He's spent time in foster care and at the Fredericksburg SPCA shelter, but now he's ready for a forever home.
Meril's adoption fee has been sponsored by the Fredericksburg Nationals as one of their MVPs — Most Valuable Pets.
"Meril loves nothing more than spending time with other dogs and playing with his toys," the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. "He has a great time with his friends both in his foster home and at the Fred SPCA shelter."

" After a fun play session, he is laid-back and enjoys spending time with humans, especially if they have treats to share," the SPCA said. "Though his captivating eyes will steal your heart - his fun-loving and friendly demeanor will make you fall in love."

Meril is a fast learner. He already knows commands like "sit," "down," "paw," and "roll over."
Interested families can meet Meril at the Fredericksburg SPCA from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
