FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Tilde is a 5-year-old cat at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Recently, she has started to come out of her shell at a foster home, but she's still waiting to find a forever family.

"Although she may appear shy at first, her personality is blossoming in her foster home, where she enjoys a slow, quiet life filled with affection and catnip toys," the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. "Once Tilde knows you, she will show you the best bunny kicks with her crinkle carrot toy and lean into your hand for full-body pets and purrs."

Tilde is on the lookout for a kindred spirit who will understand her need to talk around mealtime.

" An afternoon gossip over a snack sounds like a perfect day to her as she becomes a chatty Cathy at mealtime," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "If you're looking for a feline companion with a heart (and eyes) of gold, consider a meet with Tilde."
