FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Viking, a four-year-old dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA, is looking for his forever home. This sweet pup loves to hang out on the couch and snuggle.

Viking is currently on a weightloss journey. The SPCA reported he's lost 20 pounds so far as he works toward a healthy weight.

"He's looking for a family with lots of love to give and plenty of lap space to share," the SPCA said about Viking. "While he enjoys playtime with other dogs and going for walks, his true passion is lounging on the couch with his people."

Viking is a smart dog who likes to learn new tricks. He already knows "sit," the SPCA said.

" If you're looking for a loyal companion, that has all of the makings of a stage 5 clinger - Viking is your guy," the SPCA said.
