Rikki’s Refuge Re-Tail Coming to Fredericksburg
The thrift and resale store is currently accepting donations and volunteers.

Re-Tail is preparing for its January opening in Fredericksubrg.
The thrift and resale store at 3503 Lafayette Blvd. will help support the animals of Rikki’s Refuge Animal Sanctuary, as well as other animal groups in the area.

"Volunteers are needed to help get the store ready. If you can paint, sort donated items, clean, use a screwdriver or drill, or put tags on items, your help is needed. We will also need plenty of people to help keep the store running, so this is a perfect opportunity to help the animals in our community. If you know a little something about clothes, crafts, books, glassware, china, antiques, etc., then we would love to have you on board. In addition, Re-Tail is accepting donations of gently used items from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays in December. The store cannot cannot accept mattresses, box springs, car seats, infant furniture or any fabric items that are stained.

All donations are tax deductible.
Rikki’s Refuge in Orange County, Va., is a 367 acre, no-kill, all species peaceful sanctuary supported solely by donations. The refuge is home to over 1200 animals of over 20 different species, including, but not limited to cats, dogs, sheep, goats, rabbits, pigs, emus, chickens, ducks, geese, a chukar, peacocks and more.
