Share Your Small Business Saturday Deals with Patch

Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 24 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It's the day between Black Friday and Cyber Monday when everyone is encouraged to support the small businesses on which their community thrives.

This year, Fredericksburg Patch is compiling a list of local Small Business Saturday deals. We know there are dozens of locally-owned small businesses participating in Fredericksburg — you can look up which Fredericksburg businesses are participating here.

American Express founded Small Business Saturday in 2010 to help small businesses obtain exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked. With big retailers buzzing, it's important to support local small businesses which rely on their neighbors to continue prospering and building the local economy.

Last year, 100 million people nationwide participated in Small Business Saturday by shopping at locally owned stores to help boost the economy and their communities.
