Shot Fired During Armed Robbery Of Fredericksburg Tobacco, Vape Shop

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg police are investigating an armed robbery at a tobacco store Monday afternoon.

At about 3:50 p.m. on Monday, the Fredericksburg police received a report of an armed robbery at the Tobacco Hut and Vape at 1909 Dixon Street.

Officers responded and set up a perimeter, and began their investigation. Store employees said a Black male and a white/Hispanic male entered the store with their faces and hair covered.

The white/Hispanic male fired a single shot and demanded money, police said. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. They drove away in a dark gray or silver SUV, according to police.

No one was injured in the robbery.
