Snow, Sleet, Heavy Rain Expected, Leading Up to Thanksgiving
Drivers should be cautious of slippery conditions, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for the region, including the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford and King George.
Precipitation is expected to overspread areas west of I-95 late Monday, beginning as a light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Freezing rain is expected to continue until early-afternoon Tuesday. Drivers should be cautious of slippery conditions.
Little or no snow accumulation is expected in the Fredericksburg region, the NWS said.
Heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding, particularly Tuesday night into Wednesday.
The high Tuesday is expected to reach 45. The low Tuesday night, 41.
Rain showers are expected Wednesday before noon, then rain and snow showers likely in the afternoon. Wednesday's high should be near 41.
"Light snowfall accumulations are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening as the low pressure system moves into New England," the NWS said. This could impede holiday travel.
Thanksgiving Day in the Fredericksburg area is expected to be sunny, with a high near 38.
